Hymns of the faith
Historic hymns carry Scripture, theology, memory, and melody from one generation to the next. The catalogue helps choirs rediscover them and bring their words back into worship.
Choral Catalogue is the sheet-music library of Choral Christian. It exists to help Christians discover, understand, and sing music that strengthens faith. It also makes useful scores easier for choirs to find and access.
Our purpose
Choral Christian began from a love for Christian music and a desire to make its riches easier to encounter. Choral Catalogue turns that purpose into a practical library: searchable records, useful context, score previews, and free downloads where available.
We pay particular attention to music that is easily overlooked: doctrinally rich hymns, African choral repertoire, and sacred works that deserve a life beyond a single choir or generation.
Scores are prepared and managed with SolfaForge. The catalogue itself is a Choral Christian resource.
The repertoire
The categories are not competing camps. Together they show the breadth of music Christians have used to pray, proclaim, remember, celebrate, and worship.
Historic hymns carry Scripture, theology, memory, and melody from one generation to the next. The catalogue helps choirs rediscover them and bring their words back into worship.
Africa holds a remarkable range of sacred choral traditions, composers, languages, and styles. We give this repertoire the visibility and practical score access it deserves.
Motets, anthems, masses, oratorios, and other sacred works connect today’s choirs with centuries of musical craft. The collection spans Bach and Handel alongside many less familiar voices.
New music also has a place here. We highlight contemporary Christian works whose texts and melodies can serve worship, deepen faith, and reward thoughtful choral singing.
Personal recommendations
Kalese’s List is a personal selection of songs worth hearing and singing: memorable melodies, thoughtful texts, and repertoire from across the catalogue’s traditions. It is an invitation to discover, not a definitive ranking.
