Choral Catalogue is operated by Choral Christian in Bamenda, Cameroon. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Choral Christian.

• Accounts: your email address, password in securely hashed form, and account identifiers.
• Library activity: scores you save to your collection and a limited anonymous download count used to apply the free-download gate.
• Submissions and catalogue reports: your name, email, work title, relationship to the work, correction or rights concern, requested action, notes, and any supporting file you upload.
• Technical information: our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, request logs, browser details, and timestamps needed to deliver and protect the service.
• Preferences: your selected colour theme is stored only in your browser. The newsletter preview currently does not transmit or retain the email entered.

We use information to provide accounts and saved collections, deliver scores, review composition submissions and catalogue reports, communicate about a submission or report, secure and troubleshoot the service, and comply with legal obligations. We process it as needed to provide the service you request, for our legitimate interests in operating a safe library, with your consent where required, or to meet a legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that host or support the catalogue, when necessary to protect people or the service, or when the law requires it. Account data is held in our shared Directus system and may also support Choral Christian and SolfaForge services. Providers may process information outside your country under the safeguards available to us.

We keep account information while your account is active, submissions and catalogue reports while they are being assessed and as needed to document publication permission or rights decisions, and technical logs only as long as operationally necessary. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, or object to certain uses, subject to applicable law. You may also clear local storage and cookies in your browser. Deleting an account may not remove records we must retain for legal or copyright reasons.

The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and remove it.
